Midis

NOTE: We did not sequence any of these midis. They are here because they are songs that we like. And since our site is now hosted on Flyingomelette.com, we have permission to link to the midis that FO already has on her site. It saves space for both of us.

All You Zombies - The Hooters
James: Chosen, for some inscrutable reason, by my brother, Tyler (KAIN).

Birmingham Blues - Electric Light Orchestra
James: One of my favorite songs. ELO rocks!

Edge of Seventeen - Stevie Nicks
James: Another of my favorite songs. I thank Setzer the Great for pointing this one out to me.

Horse With No Name - America
James: Flying Omelette said our message board makes her think of this song, so here it is.

Jet Airliner - Steve Miller Band
James: The song we used to remember Kiera Lordens.

Take the Long Way Home - Supertramp
James: For some reason, this song has become a "theme song" of Deathamster's Nest. When I first heard this midi, I thought it was the best midi ever (and I still do), and I used it to close down my old ezboard and redirect people to this place. I always feel uplifted when I listen to this one.

Friends in Low Places - Garth Brooks
James: Heh, this one describes our community (well, sort of).

Nights in White Satin - The Moody Blues
James: Kairobi King used to have this in his signature and ezboard profile. It's a nice melody.

The Rainbow Connection - Kermit the Frog
James: Thanks to Flying Omelette for posting this on the board. It's a song I remember from my youth.

One Tin Soldier - Coven
James: Thanks to Pero the Cat for giving us this midi during a time when I was having many troubles in my personal life. It's another song I remembered only vaguely from my youth.

We Didn't Start the Fire - Billy Joel
James: Another one of my favorites. This song's title used to be the title bar for my old site.
