Quinton Flynn, who voices Kharg, was the voice of Jonny Quest on The Real Adventures of Jonny Quest. Jennifer Hale, who voices Delma, was the voice of Jessie on The Real Adventures of Jonny Quest.
BJ Ward voiced both the young Princess Allura and the old witch Hagar on Voltron. In Arc the Lad 4, she does both the old and young voices of Camellia.
Cree Summer, who voiced Elmyra on Tiny Toons and Penny on Inspector Gadget, is the voice of Tajana.
Carlos Alazraqui, who voices Darc, is a stand-up comedian and did the voiceovers for the Taco Bell chihuahua. He was also on Reno 911.

Michael Bell, the voice of the robot Diekbeck, has voiced many, many cartoon characters over the years, include Prowl, Sideswipe, Scrapper and Bombshell of the Transformers. Some of his other roles are Lance and Sven from Voltron and Handy Smurf.

"Bebedora" is Spanish for a heavy drinker or drunk.
"Maru", as two different words (ma ru), means "Bend Over". As one word (maru), it means "circle".
"Ganz" is German for "completely".
"Arc" means "child" in Japanese, so basically, this whole series is called "Child the Lad".
